Notice to creditors and others of filing of claims as against: New Western Plumbing & Lighting Supplies Ltd. (the “Company”) in Receivership
This notice is being published pursuant to an Order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia made July 17, 2020 (the “Claims Process Order”) authorizing the Court-appointed Receiver of the Company, Crowe MacKay & Company (the “Receiver”), to conduct a claims process (the “Claims Process”) with respect to certain claims against the Company as defined in the Claims Process Order in excess of $1,000.
The Claims Package consisting of the Claims Process Order, an instruction letter and form of Proof of Claim was sent to known creditors of the Company by the Receiver by regular mail or email on August 14, 2020. Claims will not be approved for agreements to buy shares or other equity claims.
THE CLAIMS BAR DATE is October 15, 2020. PROOFS OF CLAIM MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE RECEIVER ON OR BEFORE 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) ON THE CLAIMS BAR DATE OR THE CLAIM WILL BE FOREVER BARRED AND EXTINGUISHED. If you do not file a Proof of Claim in respect of a Claim by Claims Bar Date you shall not be entitled to participate in any distribution to creditors. Proofs of Claim must be accompanied by the contract, invoices, promissory note or other documents which contain written proof of the obligation alleged.
